Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
This is pure 'Australian sex comedy' era cinema, a genre that peaked in the 1970s when local filmmakers realized they could combine nationalistic beach imagery with softcore titillation.
Joy Chambers, who plays the harassed waitress Joy, later married Australian TV mogul Reg Grundy—essentially becoming queen of the very game show empire that spawned half this cast.
