Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Petri Poikolainen has multiple sclerosis in real life; director Teemu Nikki wrote the role specifically for him after working together previously.
The film deliberately subverts the 'inspirational disabled person' trope by making Jaakko bitter, horny, and completely unheroic — then demands you root for him anyway.
