Two men enter, one man dreams of not getting his arm snapped like a twig.

The main event features Joachim Hansen facing Shinya Aoki in the Lightweight Grand Prix final to crown the first DREAM Lightweight Champion, with Hansen advancing after a TKO win over Kultar Gill and Aoki submitting Katsuhiko Nagata at DREAM.4. Other key bouts include Eddie Alvarez vs. Tatsuya Kawajiri in a lightweight semifinal rematch, Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Katsuyori Shibata, and Alistair Overeem vs. Mark Hunt in a heavyweight clash.
Practical Effects
Real humans actually doing this to each other, zero CGI required.
Production
Osaka-jo Hall atmosphere hits different—pyro and panic in equal measure.
Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
DREAM was FEG's attempt to fill the PRIDE void, complete with pageantry and Japanese production values that American promotions still can't replicate.
This crowned DREAM's first lightweight champ—Aoki would become the face of the division, but Hansen walked away with the gold here.
