This is one of the most consistently funny stand ups I have ever seen. Simon gets humans to consider their own lives and in joining with him on humanity's journey to understand ourselves he helps us all to set ourselves a little bit freer. Every line he said was funny. It reminded me community theatre, many years ago, the first performance I did of Oscar Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest" after rehearsing for ( 2 months?). The audience laughed after every line and we had to slow down our lines. All through rehearsal I was saying the lines, thinking they were just straight lines. Until they were laughing I didnt know it was funny. In Set Free the humor is genuinely funny. I often like to watch comedy by myself to allow myself the freedom to only laugh when it is genuine. Set Free was totally enjoyable for me. A pet peeve for me is laugh tracks. Its like I am being manipulated into laughing when things are not funny. But the consistent laughter and enjoyment in this was sincere. If you want to feel your humanity, laugh at yourself and life, relax, see things in a new way and just stop needing to be so serious about life Check out Set Free on Netflix.

With all the Stranger Things content coming from Netflix, I genuinely thought the thumbnail was Alexei when I glanced at it.
