Deep Dive

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes

Trivia

Eduardo Noriega learned basic French phonetically for the role, having never spoken it before — his confusion is partly genuine.

Cultural

Released two years before Christopher Nolan's Memento, this shares the 'anterograde amnesia thriller' DNA but swaps American puritanism for French sexual frankness.
