Reactions from the web
I'm Black, grew up in the hood, and this is relatable AF. Love my mom, but her alcoholism literally pushed her to dementia at just 52 years old. I joined the Marines in 1997 literally just to be out of my hometown. And I think it's easy to take either the good OR the bad of your upbringing and allow it to define you. There comes a point in time when you have to be honest about all of it...this movie looks like it'll do a great job of that. Can't wait.
