A young Danish man traveling through Texas hooks up with an Austin girl, and even though they're not planning to see each other again, tragic circumstances lead her to his doorstep in Denmark.

There are so many lovely edge-of-the-seat scenes in this film. I really *heart*ed it.

Veronica goes back to Austin and Soren stays in Aarhus! She's sad and confused and he's very sad too. Pelle's parents are sad and angry and Pelle's little brother doesn't want Veronica to go away. Once Veronica is back home she gets a parcel, sent by Pelle's parents, and there's a video with Pelle in it. At the same time, Soren gets a card from Pelle, the one he wrote when he was in Austin. One imagines Veronica and Soren will eventually get together again, because they're in love.
