Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
2017 Telugu cinema was obsessed with NRI protagonists and 'reforming' female leads—this sits right in that uncomfortable trend of comedies about men 'taming' their wives.
Sunil was transitioning from full comedian to leading man here, and this film's commercial failure helped push him back to character roles.
