This Oscar-winning short tells of a bull who preferred to sit under trees and smell flowers to clashing horns with his fellow animals. As luck would have it, an untimely bee reveals Ferdinand's ferocious side via pained howls and wild stomping. This lands him in the bull-fighting arena amidst characters based on Walt's animators with a matador reportedly modeled after Walt himself.

I like the implicit idea, people can try to make you angry, they can try to provoke you, they can try to get a negative reaction out of you, but no matter how chaotic your environment is as long as your mind is at peace it will not be disturbed and that is what is important.

Were it not for the fact that the Matador was so obsessed with getting Ferdinand to fight, they could've been friends with their mutual appreciation for flowers.
