Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
This was Chandra Mohan Chintada's directorial debut after years as an assistant director in Telugu cinema.
The film leans heavily on Krishna Janmashtami imagery and the 'cop as divine protector' trope common in South Indian masala films — though Radha's literal belief he's chosen adds a weird sincere layer most avoid.
