This was filmed during peak Satanic Panic, when Geraldo Rivera specials and daycare scares dominated American anxiety. The Church of Satan strategically leaned into the hysteria, turning moral panic into free publicity and cultural capital.
Boyd Rice was also an industrial musician and Social Darwinist provocateur; this documentary exists at the intersection of his multiple careers as artist, archivist, and professional antagonist. Zeena Schreck would later renounce LaVeyan Satanism entirely.
