This is one of the great film musicals of a great era of wonderful musicals, on Broadway and from, especially MGM in Hollywood. RIchard

I try to always watch this movie on St. Patrick's Day, because of the Coronavirus I miss the holiday!..lol

@hibaby9379

Coppola wanted a big budget for his movie while Warner Brothers wanted to give him a small budget. The result was a Hollywood compromise: they did it on a small budget but tried to sell it as a big-budget movie! (What could possibly go wrong?)
