She killed her husband—then killed her blackmailer—then learned neither existed. Greek noir madness.
A woman murders her disabled husband and informs his brother (with whom she is having an affair), but she realizes she has misdialed and accidentally confessed her crime to a stranger. The caller attempts to blackmail her, but when he tries to rape her she kills him in the struggle. Worse still, her doctor and lover inform her to say nothing because her husband has been dead for eight months and everything that has happened she has imagined.
Acting
Catherine Mitchell's unraveling is gloriously unhinged.

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
This obscure Greek exploitation flick anticipates 1990s neo-noir mind-benders at a fraction of the budget, with Athens standing in for generic urban decay.
The title 'Frenzy' was likely chosen to capitalize on Hitchcock's 1972 film of the same name—this predates it, making it either prescient or shameless.
