1950s Soho beats with far more energy than its 21st century counterpart in this vivid time capsule.

Scenes of classic cars and vans. Those RT family buses were lovely vehicles, and these were recognised around the world as the red London double deck buses. No Routemaster buses in those days (1956)- except for the first prototype vehicle running in service, RM1.

I remember going to London in 1968. We were there ( mum, dad, me & brother ) on a day out from North Wales. I couldn’t believe my eyes , I was 12 and never been anywhere. London was an amazing place. I was there a couple of years ago and it was awful. Wish we could go back in time. 🇬🇧👍
