Deep Dive

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes

Insight

Director Edson Ferreira uses the bus as metaphor for circular, aimless working-class existence — going nowhere, seeing everything.

Cultural

The film quietly interrogates Brazilian racial dynamics through Valcir's presence, a narrative choice rarely explored in 2014 indie cinema.
