Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Terminal Entry perfectly captures 1988's hysteria about hackers as existential threats—months before the Morris Worm made it 'real.' The film's fictional 'Terror Net' accidentally predicted how actual extremist groups would later use online coordination.
Director John Kincade allegedly made this after being fired from a larger production, shooting the entire film in 18 days at a YMCA camp in Georgia. Yaphet Kotto reportedly took the role to pay for a divorce settlement.
