Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Vimal was cast against type here—known for rural comedies, not accidental action heroes. The gamble mostly works.
The film taps into 2010s Tamil cinema's obsession with 'encounter' ethics, but from the bumbling bystander's POV rather than the usual righteous cop angle.
