Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Flanagan & Allen were Britain's top double act; this film packaged their stage revue for homesick troops and civilians. 'Dreaming' was wartime comfort food—literally commissioned to boost morale.
Hazel Court later became Hammer Horror royalty in 'The Curse of Frankenstein' and 'The Masque of the Red Death'—quite the glow-up from playing three love interests in one 74-minute fever dream.
