Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Director Brian DeCubellis spent 15 years as a music video producer; this was his feature debut. The visual polish makes sense now.
The 'found footage within a film' structure awkwardly chases the 2010s analog horror trend (Sinister, etc.) but grafted onto retro noir. It doesn't graft well.
