Her gaze is drawn to a nearly identical figure staring back at her from the storefront window. As if by magic, the shop’s door swings open. But to her bewilderment, her elusive twin is nowhere to be found.

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Rodrigo Blaas animated at Pixar for years; this was his dark passion project. The 'Alma' doll design deliberately echoes vintage Spanish porcelain dolls.
Released online in 2009, it became a viral 'don't watch this alone' challenge before TikTok existed. Guillermo del Toro loved it so much he helped Blaas develop it into a scrapped feature.
