I watched this film when it was theatrically released, if you believe it of all places, in Athens, Greece. The Pet Shop Boys were in their imperial phase, so the film was distributed here. The movie theatre was Asty, located downtown, at Korai Square, just across the city University. A central cinema. There were only 5-6 of us, spectators. What an amazing memory. I must have been 15 then.
