Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Shot during the golden age of Malayalam commercial cinema, this represents the 'Mammootty lawyer' subgenre that dominated 1980s Kerala box offices.
The cargo ship sequences were filmed on an actual working vessel — the crew's authentic exhaustion wasn't acting. K. Madhu reportedly got seasick and directed from a tied-down chair.
