Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
This was one of several failed 80s horror-comedies trying to capitalize on the 'Return of the Living Dead' energy, filmed in Utah on a shoestring.
The 'preppie bully' archetype was peaking in 1989—this film accidentally captures the era's class anxiety about rich kids who literally refuse to die.
