Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
The film sparked controversy for whitewashing Tiger Lily, with Rooney Mara's casting criticized amid Hollywood's ongoing representation struggles.
This was intended to launch a franchise. It bombed so hard ($150M budget, $128M worldwide) that we never got Hook's inevitable villain origin story.
