Deep Dive

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes

Trivia

Sam Newfield directed over 250 films, often under pseudonyms so theaters wouldn't realize one man made half their Westerns.

Cultural

The 'nester' vs. cowman conflict reflects real 1880s Wyoming range wars — though this version solves everything with punching.
