Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
This was David Carradine's final completed film role before his death in June 2009; he plays The Bishop in what amounts to an extended cameo.
The 'terminally ill crime boss hires his own killer' premise eerily mirrors Carradine's own public fascination with death and Eastern philosophy, making his casting almost uncomfortably meta.
