Léo is 10 and wise beyond his years. A solitary dreamer who seeks refuge in books. When the carefree 20-year-old Théo steps into his life, it forces Léo out of his shell. Despite their age difference, the two becomes best friends, helping each other face up to their responsibilities.

French films are very good at personal relationships and more importantly the emotion generated by them. This film deals with a 20 year old man`s relationship as a babysitter to a 10 year old boy. At first the father was reluctant to engage him him and the boy cold shouldered him but the plan tonic relationship between the man and boy grew very strong between them in the meantime the adult relationships fell apart. The cinemaphotography in this film is of a very high order from the moment it starts it has a strong cast and script. It is not world beating like the Mexican film Roma made in 2018 however the cinemaphotography especially of the boy is beautifully done. It weakness is the story is not very believable. I normally expect films like this to come from Swedish directors so please take note.
