Deep Dive

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes

Trivia

Sacristán's sole directorial feature; he reportedly chose the title 'Cara de acelga' because it sounded like nonsense poetry.

Cultural

A stealth parody of 1980s Spanish 'quinqui' crime films, swapping grit for existential shrug.
