Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
This captures 1960s Egyptian theatre-to-film adaptations, where stage-trained actors brought exaggerated physicality to cinema. The runtime suggests it preserves full theatrical pacing.
Adel Khairy directed himself in the lead — a rarity showing the star power and creative control of Egyptian cinema's studio era.
