Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
The entire movie was filmed in just four weeks around Steve's regular conservation work—he genuinely didn't know the spy plot was fictional until filming started.
This remains the only theatrically-released film where a real-life wildlife personality played himself while accidentally thwarting a fictional government operation, and Hollywood has been too cowardly to replicate it.
