Os Tiranos (1951)

Overview

The miseries perpetrated by three tyrants who arrive in the city of Beauvais during the time of religious conflicts in France, and the consequent fear of the town's inhabitants, are depicted through the painting by the French painter Antoine Caron (1520-1598). The work is part of the Nitrates Project of the Brazilian Cinematheque.
