Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Pink film (pinku eiga) remains Japan's longest-running film genre, with strict 60-80 minute runtimes mandated by exhibitors. Takehora operates within these constraints while attempting genre crossover.
Yui Tatsumi was transitioning from gravure idol to pink film regular during this production; her casting was deliberately chosen to attract crossover audiences.
