The history of the last fifty years as seen through the eyes of a domestic helper. She began her service before the war, and after the war and a year-long stay in a camp, she returned to her profession. In October 1956, her employer lost his job because of her. She served her next employers until 1970. They had a family atmosphere, and her ward, like her predecessors, got a cool job. In 1976, she finally got her own 12-square-meter apartment, but unfortunately, in 1981, it became infested with vermin.
