Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Written by Dave Foley and David Higgins during their Kids in the Hall era, originally planned as a much darker thriller before they leaned into full comedy.
The film satirizes the 'wrong man' thriller genre by making the protagonist the only person who doesn't know he's not suspected—Hitchcock by way of complete incompetence.
