Sakura, a young delinquent used to being shunned because of his half-white hair, arrives at Furin High School with the aim to become the top brawler. The school is ruled by the Bofurin, or "Wind Breakers", an honorable street gang who keeps the local shopping street safe and is loved by the locals. For the first time in his life, Sakura is accepted by someone and finds himself fighting for the sake of others, instead of believing that relying on others is a weakness. A compressed adaptation of the first four volumes of the manga (or the first ten episodes of the TV anime).

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
The windbreaker jacket design is actually accurate to real Japanese high school gang fashion from the 80s-90s.
Compressing 10 episodes sacrifices Nirei's full arc, making his sudden competence in the final brawl feel unearned unless you've seen the anime.
