Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
This was one of Anushka Shetty's earliest major roles before becoming Baahubali royalty. Nagarjuna reportedly did his own stunts for the robbery sequences.
The film exemplifies early-2000s Tollywood's obsession with 'poverty porn' aesthetics — slum glamour that makes financial desperation look almost aspirational. The title 'Super' itself became ironic given its 4.3 rating.
