Groundhog Day meets serial killer, minus the charm and budget.
What if your only sister was brutally murdered and you could go back in time to save her? Would you? For scientist Philip Davis (Dean Paul) that´s a no-brainer decision since he´s developed a way of traveling back in time. So, of course, he does just that! But in saving his sister (Laura Giglio), he dooms his own wife (Suzi Leigh) when she becomes the victim of the sadistic strangler! And despite going back in time, again and again, Philip only makes things worse.
Practical Effects
Ambitious time-travel effects on clearly zero dollars.
Acting
Dean Paul's escalating panic deserves a gold star.
Director
Gary Whitson
Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Gary Whitson directed hundreds of shot-on-video horror films in the 90s-2000s, making him an accidental folk hero of microbudget cinema.
The film's 32-minute runtime suggests it was either a failed feature or an ambitious short — either way, it commits to full melodrama.
