LKA officer Robert can barely do his job because of his phobia of crime scenes. The shy man's big dream is to retrain as a "profiler", but his superior would have to agree first. Hairdresser Rita dreams of a life as a writer, but no one is interested in her stories. When the two meet, it's love at first sight. And when Rita's daughter becomes involved in a murder case, the timid Robert rises above himself.

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
This TV movie premiered on German public broadcaster ARD, typical of their Sunday evening 'Krimi' slot that blends cozy crime with broad comedy.
The LKA (Landeskriminalamt) setting and Robert's bureaucratic ladder-climbing satirize German civil service culture where retraining requires endless permissions.
