Housewife meets bartender. Things get... educational. Very educational.
Saki, a full-time housewife, is lonely and waiting for her husband to return today. Even though she made dinner for me, she didn’t even eat a bite because she was drinking with her coworkers. She has been married for 10 years, and her husband has not had sex with her, and recently she suspects that her husband is cheating on her due to his suspicious behavior. Since she turned 30, Saki has become a woman and even feels stressed by her frustrated daily life. In order to change her life, Saki decides to work part-time at a pub in front of the station. There, she meets Hajime, a young and nice man, to whom she becomes attracted. She is a married woman who indulges in adulterous sex with a man younger than her, “reminding me of the joy of being a woman…”

Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
The 'part-time housewife' trope dominates Japanese adult cinema as commentary on stagnant marriages and economic precarity.
Director Kitorune Kawaguchi frequently explores female protagonists who weaponize their 'maternal' image—Saki's 'dinner uneaten' opening is deliberate domestic failure.
