Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Shot entirely on a Fisher-Price PXL-2000, a $100 toy camcorder from 1987 that recorded to audio cassettes. Almereyda bought three at garage sales.
This predates the 'mumblecore' movement by over a decade but basically invents it — Joe Swanberg owes Almereyda a drink.
