Standout Aspects

Acting

The entire Comic Strip Presents ensemble at peak grotesque.

Writing

Peter Richardson's script weaponizes Enid Blyton against itself.

Direction

Bob Spiers directs like he's trying to get fired.

Best for:Friends: Watch with fellow degenerates who'll appreciate the anarchy.·Rewatch: Rewarding repeat viewings for buried gags.·Background: Actually don't—this demands your full unhinged attention.
Heads up:Drug Use: The title isn't metaphorical; mescalin features prominently.·Sexual Content: Uncle Quentin's boyfriend and general queer debauchery throughout.
