This was France's first full-length CGI feature, made by a video game studio that had never made a film. The budget was roughly €15 million—modest even for 2003.
The English dub features Kirsten Dunst as Kaena and Richard Harris (his final role) as Opaz. The French version has Cécile de France, giving two completely different energies.
