Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Director Robert Markowitz also helmed the equally unhinged 2000 TV movie 'Cabin by the Lake' about a serial killer who drowns women then gardens. He had a niche.
This arrived at peak 'desperate housewife as sociopath' TV movie era, when networks greenlit anything with a blonde woman holding a knife on the poster.
