Trivia, insights & behind the scenes
Most of the 'first-hand testimonials' come from fired band members with obvious grudges, making this half-exposé, half-bitter revenge. Olivia Newton Bundy and Zsa Zsa Speck barely appear in any other footage anywhere.
Shot right before Columbine made Manson a national scapegoat, this captures the final moment when he was still 'underground weirdo' rather than 'mainstream boogeyman.' The documentary's cheapness is almost charming now.
