As someone who grew up in a Christian Zionist household, I completely understand these young people's frustration. I felt deeply betrayed when I realized that what I had been taught for years was part of a narrative that justified the displacement of millions from their homeland. My pro-Palestine stance comes from the pain of being lied to sold a fantasy that masked the reality of a European settler ethnostate built on colonization and apartheid.
